Three segments · one commercial work queue

Lead Radar: spotting hiring signals without calling every job post a lead

Lead Radar helps Group S Select track public job posts, classify them by segment and organise commercial follow-up. The tool does not replace the team's judgement: it makes signals, statuses, reminders and corrections visible.

The client

Group S Select

Group S Select supports companies with recruitment and selection. Its commercial teams need to separate several portfolios, spot useful signals and keep a clear trace of what has already been handled.

The situation

How did it work before?

Public job posts carried interesting signals, but they were scattered: existing clients, prospects outside the portfolio and a historical portfolio taken over. Without a shared radar, the reading depended on when each person did their monitoring and how the information was noted.

The trigger

The request was not to produce a magic list of won clients. It needed a robust routine: detect public signals, classify them, assign them, record the commercial next step and measure data quality over time.

What we did

Step by step.

  1. Phase 1

    Separate portfolios before processing jobs

Lead Radar starts with three distinct segments: existing Group S clients, prospects outside the portfolio and a historical B2B portfolio taken over. That separation avoids mixing commercial realities that do not call for the same action.

  2. Phase 2

Turn monitoring into a weekly routine

Each week, public job posts are collected, compared with the previous state, then attached to a job category, province and publication language. The team sees what is new, hidden, dismissed or needs correction.

  3. Phase 3

    Give sales a work queue

A job post can be taken, contacted, won, dismissed, scheduled for follow-up or released. Notes and statuses stay attached to the company, with a history the team can read.

  4. Phase 4

    Keep caution in the numbers

The 293 LinkedIn posts from the expanded 9 September collection are treated as punctual signals, not qualified leads. Public screenshots anonymise companies, numbers and internal details.

The numbers

What is measurable.

  • 3Portfolio segments separated
  • 7Job categories used to classify posts
  • 716Posts visible in the radar at the shared snapshot
  • 293LinkedIn posts spotted during the punctual 9 September collection

Awaiting clientThese volumes describe signal collection and qualification. They should not be read as qualified leads, won opportunities or exhaustive market coverage.

What next?

What follows.

Lead Radar remains a commercial decision-support tool: it brings order to monitoring, shows changes and documents follow-up. The outside-the-portfolio segment stays a list of companies that are hiring, not a promise of won clients, and the weekly updates flag new, disappeared or reactivated job posts.
