Stock, reservations and four roles in a single tool
Ootouch imports and distributes bamboo in Belgium. Stock, sales reservations and reporting were read differently depending on who was looking. The Ops Shell gives each role its own view, on one and the same data.

An internal workspace reserved for the team
Ootouch
Ootouch, a Belgian bamboo importer. Several collections in the catalogue, including BambooTouch® and EcooTouch®, a warehouse to run and a sales team reserving against available stock.
How did it work before?
Management, the warehouse and the sales team each had their own way of tracking stock. A reservation made by a salesperson was not immediately visible on the warehouse side, and reporting was rebuilt by hand at every review.
The need for a reservation that genuinely commits stock the moment it is made, not after a human check.
Step by step.
- Month 1
The stock model
Structuring the catalogue by collection and defining what an available quantity is. Decision : a sales reservation decreases availability immediately, there is no parallel theoretical stock.
- Month 2
Sales reservations
Reservation journey for the sales team, wired straight into the stock model rather than into an approval queue.
- Month 3
The Pulse dashboard
Four readings of the same data : general management, operations, warehouse and sales. Each role sees what it runs, nobody browses someone else's dashboard.
- Ongoing
